Lynn Forbes, the mother of the late South African rapper AKA, recently posted a video showcasing her Christmas celebrations in 2022, unknowingly marking the final holiday season spent with her beloved son.
The footage captures a heartwarming moment as AKA presents his daughter Kairo with a meaningful gift, all while enjoying a delightful lunch with his family, including his girlfriend Nadia Nakai.
Tragically, AKA’s life was abruptly cut short when he and his friend Tibz were fatally shot on Florida Road in Durban, right outside the WISH restaurant.
Recently sharing a screenshot from one of their conversations, a grieving Lynn revealed she missed waking up to the Mass Country record producer’s texts.
In a previous conversation, AKA told his mom to give him a call when she wakes up because he’d love to have lunch with her.
Lynn’s response, “Are you still awake? We can have lunch. Let me know what time. Miss you more,” was followed by her wish that she could call AKA when she wakes up to tell him how much she would love to have lunch with him.
