Biles debuted the necklace, which features a diamond-encrusted goat, following her gold medal win on Aug. 1.

Simone Biles knew that people “would go crazy” over her goat necklace and they did.

The 27-year-old gymnastics superstar won gold in the women’s gymnastics all-around final on Aug. 1, marking her second gold medal during the Paris Olympics. As she nabbed her sixth gold medal and ninth overall, Biles cemented her GOAT — Greatest of All Time — status by showing off her latest medal alongside her necklace that included a diamond-encrusted goat charm.

Biles spoke about the significance of the necklace during a press conference with reporters that same day.

“My GOAT necklace is just kind of an ode, because the people love it and some people hate it,” she said. “So, it’s like the best of both worlds. I was like, ‘OK, if it goes well, we’ll wear the GOAT necklace.’ I know people will go crazy over it.”

Adding, “But at the end of the day, it is crazy that I am in the conversation of ‘greatest of all athletes’ because I just still think, ‘I’m Simone Biles from Spring, Texas, that loves to flip.’”

It should be noted that at 27, Biles is the oldest U.S. Olympic gymnast in 72 years, according to NBC News.

“Yassss wear the necklace and pop yo ‘ishhh…. You’ve earned it Sis,” one person wrote, while another added, “You are Simone Biles from Spring Texas who loves to flip to the point of Olympic Gold. You are an inspiration to the world! God Bless.”

“She’s so humble! That’s another reason why we love her so much!” one fan wrote.

Another commented, “She is the once in a lifetime athlete! Deserving of all the praise and respect!!”

The goat necklace was commissioned by the athlete from Janet Heller Fine Jewelry, who shared in an Instagram post that the piece is “a three-dimensional masterpiece adorned with 546 diamonds” and “embodies her unparalleled status in gymnastics.”

The jeweler noted that they also designed a bespoke Olympic rings necklace for Biles. The pieces are “a testament to the enduring legacy of a true champion. As the Paris 2024 Olympics unfold, all eyes are on Simone Biles — the GOAT both on and off the mat.”

And on the mat, Biles’ outstanding floor routine secured her the all-around first place win. Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade took home the silver, while defending U.S. gold medalist Suni Lee nabbed the bronze.

The win comes after Team USA women’s gymnastics — also known as the Golden Girls — secured the gold medal in the team final on July 30.
