Breakdancing made its debut in the Summer Olympics in Paris.
More than 30 B-Boys and B-Girls from over 15 nations are currently competing for the Golde medal, including the United States, Japan, Morocco, The Netherlands, France, South Korea, Ukraine, and many more.
The event, which has Snoop Dogg in attendance, is taking Place de la Concorde in Paris, France.
For the debut of breakdancing at the Paris Olympics, the reactions to it are not going over well at all.
Many fans tuned in to see the newest sport, and many left feeling quite disturbed by how this event made it to the big leagues.
Tough crowd.
Despite how everyone feels, B-boys and B-girls are still battling it out to make further history as the first gold, silver, and bronze medal winners of breakdancing at the Olympics.
Their names will forever be etched into history.
Olympic Breakdancing Is Only A One-Time Event That Won’t Happen In Los Angeles
Snoop Dogg and others might be looking forward to the arrival of breakdancing in Paris, but it won’t return four years from now.
The inclusion of sports such as breaking is part of a flexible process to align with the goals of each host city’s organizing committee, per AZ Central.
Los Angeles decided to select cricket, flag football, lacrosse, squash, and baseball/softball for the 2028 games.
Breakdancing, karate, motorsport, and kickboxing were rejected.
Who knows? Breakdancing might have a chance to come back in 2032
