Paige Bueckers took part in a rapid-fire session on Monday alongside renowned stylist Britanny Hampton for StockX. The duo answered questions about their style inspirations, ideal sneaker designs and overrated trends alongside a few basketball-themed questions.
When asked about the best active WNBA player from the 2024 season, Bueckers did not hesitate to name NBA 2K25 cover athlete A’ja Wilson.
“I would probably say, A’ja Wilson’s going crazy this season,” Bueckers said as Hampton leaned toward Diana Taurasi in an all-time scenario.
As the 2024 WNBA season began, Caitlin Clark was considered an MVP candidate. She went through an acclimatization process but has since found her feet and is one of the top contenders for the Rookie of the Year award.
Wilson, meanwhile, leads the WNBA in scoring (27.2 points per game). She also averages 11.9 rebounds and a career-best 1.8 steals and 2.8 blocks. She has the second-best shooting efficiency (52.7%).
The WNBA is on a mid-season break due to the 2024 Paris Olympics, where A’ja Wilson led Team USA to its eighth consecutive gold medal and earned the tournament MVP title.
The second half of the regular season resumes on Friday.
