Baby Biles Shares Simone Biles’ Paris Olympics Spotlight for This Adorable
Reason
The gymnastics gene runs deep in Simone Biles‘ family, and there’s already a future Olympian in the making—her adorable niece, Ronni Biles, aka Baby Biles! This tiny tot took her first flight at just nine months old to cheer on her TT (that’s Auntie Simone) at the 2023 US Championships. Fast forward to over a year and a half, and she’s witnessed her aunt make history again, snagging 3 Golds and 1 Silver at the Paris Olympics, making Simone the most decorated US Olympic gymnast. Talk about having a superstar role model!
Baby Biles has been completely starstruck! Not just by her Aunt Simone, but by watching her make history, which has ignited Ronni’s own love for gymnastics. After the 2023 US Championships, Ronni’s mom, Sammi Biles—Simone’s sister-in-law—shared that the little one is a natural, just like her aunt. She started by mounting herself high on the rings in her crib. Ronni has been imitating Simone’s moves, tumbling and twirling, and even became the youngest elite member of WCC, the gym owned by Simone’s parents and Ronni’s grandparents, Ronald and Nellie Biles.
After having the time of her life at the Olympic trials, Baby Biles even took her first international trip to the City of Love to cheer her history-maker TT at the Paris Olympics. As Simone wrapped up her Paris Olympics journey on August 5th, ESPNW reported on X that at each of Simone’s performances at the Bercy Arena, Ronni sported matching leotards in the stands.
From the “Star-Spangled Shine” leotard with rhinestone stars during the qualification round to the “Go for Glory” leotards with pearls and red, white, and blue stripes and stars for the team final, Baby Biles was a mini-me of her iconic aunt, making the most of her spotlight in these cute tributes. Imagine having Simone Biles to look up to! Baby Biles is not just smitten; she’s inspired, and who knows? Maybe one day, she’ll be the one making history on the gymnastics floor. But do you know she’s already given gymnastics fans a taste of what that could be like?
Simone Biles’ sister-in-law teases with a peek at Baby Biles’ future Team USA gymnastics dreams!
On July 30, Simone Biles and Team USA, featuring Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera, clinched the Paris Olympics team gold, completing their full-circle redemption journey! And guess who was the tiniest cheerleader? None other than Baby Biles herself—Ronni! Just hours before, Ronni and her mom, Sammi Biles, set the stage for what could be Ronni’s future.
Rocking the GK Elite “Star-Spangled Shine” leotard on her hotel room bed Sammi imitated the voice of a stadium announcer, shouting, “And now competing for the United States of America… RONNI BILES!” With a wide grin and twinkling eyes, Ronni raised her hands just like her “TT” Simone Biles and saluted the make-believe audience, then giggled and plopped back down on her pillow.
Sammi’s post wasn’t just about Ronni’s adorable antics; she also sent a heartfelt shoutout to Team USA: “LFGGGG team finalll✨ do it for the little girl inside of each of you 🫶🏼 we love & support yall no matter what!!! let’s gooooo 🤍TT @simonebiles, auntie hype queen Jo @jordanchiles, & TEAM 🇺🇸 @usagym we will be cheering loud & proud in Bercy arena 🏟️🇫🇷.”
And that’s exactly what the team did, reclaiming American dominance on the gymnastics podium! So, what do you think of Ronni Biles’ adorable Paris Olympics adventure? And how about Simone Biles’ history-making moments? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
