“Goofball” Caitlin Clark’s Viral Pool Video Wins Fans’ Heart: “Why Is She So Cute”
It has been some time since the world saw Caitlin Clark’s goofy side. She had a tough start to the season, keeping the first overall draft pick from taking some time out for herself. However, things seem to have settled now as just hours before her big game with the Phoenix Mercury, a video showing the Fever rookie enjoying her time at a pool surfaced online. Apart from taking the much-needed respite to enjoy her post-college life, she also swayed her fans with the extrovert avatar.
Recently, Lexie Hull of the Indiana Fever shared a video of Caitlin Clark and the squad spending time in the pool on TikTok. The video that surfaced also shows the former Cardinal Hull asking the 2x National Player of the Year if she wants to play Mermaid. Of course, the fun-loving Des Moines native said yes. She then swam away, only to come out with chlorine water in her eyes that disabled her vision.
First, Hull shows Katie Lou Samuelson asking her if she wants to play mermaid. The sixth overall pick from 2022 then switched the view back to Caitlin Clark. The No. 22 then went to the ice bath with a tiny cannonball. She quickly came out of the freezing water to return to the first pool. Her running from one pool to another subsequently gave everyone a big smile. Undeniably, her fans too were in the queue.
Overloaded on cheekiness, Caitlin Clark fans cheer for their WNBA star
The delightful back-and-forth between the two teammates who had only recently graduated was definitely very cute. So much so that the fans took over the internet to show adoration for them. One Caitlin Clark follower went a little too far, as they confessed that they would take a bullet for the guard. While she is certainly grabbing a lot of attention, maybe taking a bullet goes too far. They also shared the adorable way that the rookie replied to her vet for playing mermaids.
““do you wanna play mermaids?” “ yeah 🥰… 🧜♀️” i would take a bullet for her why is she so cute 😭”
Another fan couldn’t help but laugh hysterically at her running around in the pools. Later, they also called her a goofball. However, this is not the first time that we have seen the Hawkeye sensation like this. In fact, multiple videos from her time in Iowa have surfaced in the past few years that show exactly how fun she is to be around.
“😂😂😂 gal darn goofball”
“caitlin is sooooo cute 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹”
We have seen her compete and carry a heavy crown over the last few years. However, it is important to remember that she is just 22 years old. One fan talked about just that. Indiana’s team is the youngest in the league right now. Most of its players do not have over five years of experience in the WNBA either. Keeping that in mind, a follower mentioned how they are still kids. Caitlin Clark has previously mentioned how she likes to stay at home than go out. Although not common with her, we have seen her at many parties like an after-draft celebration with Cameron Brink and family and also a private party with her boyfriend and brothers.
“We forget theyre early 20 something kids…Cool to see them having fun”
Her goofiness even brought Phoenix fans into the comment section. They commented on how they love her two personalities. Surely, Caitlin Clark has repeatedly mentioned how she is a competitor inside the lines. But outside of it, everyone is friendly. However, she can certainly use a little selfishness on the floor today as well as she takes on Diana Taurasi’s Mercury.
“I feel like she is such a outgoing kid like personality off court then on court she’s a demon and give zero care. Like two completely different ppl. It’s honestly the best.”
The Indiana Fever will certainly enter the Footprint Center with high hopes today. Knowing that it is going to be a highly intense game, it is great to see that Caitlin Clark and her teammates have attended a fun chemistry-evolving session already.
