WNBA fans were divided over Caitlin Clark‘s stardom after Paige Bueckers’ face was displayed on the jumbotron during the WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday. When Bueckers realized that she was on the screen, she got out of the frame and signaled towards Sheryl Swoopes, who was sitting beside her.

Seeing the UConn Huskies star sharing the limelight with the WNBA legend and a former black athlete, the fans were divided while comparing her to Clark. Reacting to the video, some said that this is what they imagined Clark to become.

“Future WNBA Star sighting,” a fan wrote.

“Respectfully… Paige Buekers is everything y’all wanted Caitlin Clark to be… I’ll die on this hill,” another fan wrote.

Some also wrote that when Bueckers arrives in the WNBA, it will be a great year for the league.

“Her coming then JUJU two years later. This is going to be great for wnba,” a fan wrote.

However, some fans said that creating a division between two players was unnecessary.

“How about we just support them both instead of creating unnecessary divide?” a fan wrote.

Some fans came in support of Clark, saying that the Indiana Fever rookie star was the biggest star in the world and no one was even close.

“Cc is legit the most popular woman’s hooper in the world and yall really can’t accept that,” a fan wrote.

“Respectfully, Caitlin Clark is the biggest star women’s basketball has ever seen and it’s not even close,” a fan wrote.

“Paige is awesome. She will never be the total star that CC is. But she will be a star in the W,” another fan wrote.
