Travis Kelce‘s non-football business profile continues to rise as he creates a life for himself outside of the gridiron.
The 34-year-old tight end is in the back stretch of his career and he has never been more popular.
Kelce has become an avid golfer with a few celebrity tournament appearances, but owning a golf course would be a new venture, per The Sun.
Alongside teammate Patrick Mahomes, Kelce participated in ‘The Match’ against then-Golden State Warriors duo of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.
Travis Kelce plans to invest multiple millions in the building of golf courses around the world
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are going strong after around a year of dating publicly
The golf project Kelce will be involved with reportedly will spend $140million over the next five years building courses.
Last month, Jason Kelce joined his younger brother for the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament, in Nevada.
Kelce’s net worth and mainstream interest has increase since his public relationship with 14-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift began last September.
Swift attended 13 of Kelce’s games last season, with the Chiefs holding a 10-3 record in those matchups. Kelce returned the favor by attending shows on her ‘Eras Tour’ in Argentina, Amsterdam, London, and Singapore.
The Kelce brothers are also reportedly in talks shopping their podcast, ‘New Heights’, with deals up to $100million being discussed.
Mahomes and Kelce also plan to open a steakhouse in Kansas City next year called ‘1587 Prime’, in reference to their jersey numbers.
Kelce has also planned two successful music festivals called ‘Kelce Jam.’
Alongside LSU gymnast and social-media sensation Olivia Dunne, Kelce is a brand ambassador for the energy drink, Accelerator.
Even as Kelce embarks on his next NFL season, trying to be part of a Chiefs three-peat, he has clearly set himself up well for a life outside of football.
