Well another day, another jealous WNBA veteran taking a cheap shot at Caitlin Clark for…..being good? This time the culprit was 34 year old Skylar Diggins, who was once the #3 overall pick back in 2013. She’s a 6x All-Star, 4x 1st Team player, Gold Medalist, blah blah blah. Point being, add her to the list of players that think they have once deserved the fame that Caitlin Clark gets every time she walks down the street.
Anyways, the story goes that the 17-9 Seattle Storm came into rookie Caitlin’s arena yesterday and got absolutely shit pumped. I know Skylar was only -12 while on the court, but the overall team lost by 17. Meanwhile Caitlin (+18) went for 23, 9, and 5. That’s the thing about Caitlin Clark. Not only does she talk the talk, she walks the walk. Skylar Diggins does walk too….at double speed to make she she gets to shoulder check Caitlin for….pumping up her home crowd?
It’s so sad to see that it’s funny. The entire world has sided with Caitlin Clark and instead of the WNBA vets getting on board and realizing that she makes the league so much better, they still try to take her out. And even after the game, former 1st overall pick in the draft, Jewell Loyd, refused to talk about her?
Jealousy is a stinky cologne, Jewell! There’s literally zero reason to take offense to that question, but you did, and now you look like a jealous little clown. I know you and the girls just got off a two week long trip to Paris where you all convinced yourselves that Caitlin and the WNBA all-stars beating Team USA wasn’t that big of a deal, but what about yesterday? What about when you shot the ball 22 times yesterday and the team got beat by 19 when you were on the court? But even though Jewell Loyd comes off looking like a little baby here, I love everything about it. I love that the most liked player in WNBA history is also the villain within the league. They want her to fail so bad….the only problem is that she’s literally better than every single one of them.
