Caitlin Clark is one of the most important players in the WNBA, and as that there is no question that because of it everyone is throwing shade at her. With that said, many other have come out to defend her and support her amid attacks that to many are without any foundation.

This time it has been a former NFL quarterback the one that has come to defend her. Robert Griffin III recently was laid off by ESPN because of budget reasons but this has not been something that has prevented him from speaking his mind.

The former Washington quarterback took to social media to call out WNBA players who seemed to have an issue with Caitlin Clark and the attention she has been getting since being drafted by the Indiana Fever.

It all was generated because of a small run-in that Clark had with Seattle Storm’s Skylar Diggins-Smith and how Jewel Loyd asked a question on the post-game press conference about the matter.

“It’s VERY CLEAR WNBA players are tired of Caitlin Clark getting all the shine and being the vocal point of every discussion,” Robert Griffin III posted on X “It’s beyond competitiveness and physical play. They don’t even want to answer questions about her. If they don’t like it, THEN STOP HER.” With this it is confirmed that a lot of sports casters and former players have Caitlin’s back.
