‘Married woman’: Zinhle’s relationship with Forbes family slammed
A Twitter user has called DJ Zinhle’s relationship with AKA’s parents Lynn and Tony Forbes, ‘a slap in the face of Murdah Bongz’.

Since the death of talented local rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, Ntombezinhle “DJ Zinhle” Jiyane, who shares a daughter with the slain rapper, has been spending a lot of time with his family. Various photos of the family on different outings have gained thousands of reactions from social media users who love the connection they have despite the fact that AKA is no more.
And now a popular Twitter influencer has gone viral for tweeting that Zinhle’s relationship with the Forbes family is actually disrespectful to her husband and fellow musician Murdah Bongz. The tweet received a number of reactions from social media users who defended Zinhle or agreed with the influencer.
‘Slap in Murdah’s face’: Tweep on Zinhle spending time with Forbes family
Tony and Lynn Forbes have openly welcomed their late son AKA’s baby momma DJ Zinhle into their family.
They continue to spend time with Zinhle who shares nine-year-old Kairo Forbes with AKA. Over the last few weeks, they have shared a number of photos together which has left social media users positively buzzing.
One tweep a @advobarryroux appears to find the relationship inappropriate — especially because Dj Zinhle is married to Murdah Bongz.

“For a married woman DJ Zinhle to spend time with her ex-husband’s family really is a slap in the face of Murdah Bongz. it’s a situation where you will always not be good enough for her no matter what you do. She’s staying with you because you’re safe not because she loves you,” he wrote.
Mzansi jumps to DJ’s defense
Many were unsatisfied with the tweet and quickly called the Twitter user out. A number of them say that she is an adult who is respectfully bonding with her child’s grandparents.
“It’s Kairo MOM so she will be there for her daughter and Bongani is the Goat to understand Zinhle’s situation I so love their communication Kiernan fam are coloureds no that they will always involve Zinhle and Nadia so nje rest,” said one person while another added:
“South Africans are so invested in Dj Zinhle’s personal life. They feel very entitled to tell her what’s wrong or right for her and a family.”
