AKA’s mom spends time with DJ Zinhle’s new baby

AKA’s mother, Lynn Forbes, and his ex-girlfriend, DJ Zinhle, have not stopped keeping in touch and maintaining their relationship.

Lynn recently paid Zinhle a visit to bond with her newborn. Zinhle and Murdah Bongz welcomed their daughter, Asante, in September.

Zinhle shared a picture on her Instagram Story of Lynn cradling Asante in her living room.

“Glammy,” the ‘Umlilo’ hitmaker captioned the sweet image. She also added a heart emoji.

AKA’s mom and DJ Zinhle’s close bond 

Lynn and DJ Zinhle are almost inseparable.

Their close bond got in the way of AKA’s relationship with Bonang. The rapper complained in a 2016 rant that it was becoming a bit weird.

“Why are there so many pictures of my mother on Instagram …. And none of her own mother? It’s weird. Let go. Please.” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

AKA added in another tweet: “Where is HER mother?”

Zinhle’s mother, Jabu Jiyane, lives in KwaZulu-Natal, where the star grew up. Lynn has been a big part of her mommy support team ever since Kairo was born.

Lynn still plays an important role in Kairo’s life. The motivational speaker manages the six-year-old’s Instagram page.

Kairo has one million followers!

“My relationship with Zinhle is never going to change and neither will my relationship with Kiernan. I love them both dearly and I support both,” Lynn told Drum magazine.
