If Caitlin Clark puts her mind to it, she can do whatever she wants.
We know that is true on the court, but does it apply to other sports?
Midway through her rookie season, Caitlin Clark is feeling quite refreshed after the league had a much-anticipated break due to the Olympics, as teams are getting set to return to action.
Before that happened, players on the Indiana Fever took their talents to “Back 9 Golf” located in Indiana to get some swings in.
Caitlin Clark was first up and showed off her impressive swing, leading to her getting a 100 lit up on the board.
Teammate and good friend Lexie Hull then got her shot to swing, and she seemingly did much better than Clark.
Not one to take a loss, the ultra-competitive Caitlin Clark stepped back up on the mat and scored a 300 for the win.
Fans were shocked by Clark’s golf swing and her competitive spirit:
Caitlin Clark is coming off a highly controversial exclusion from the Team USA women’s basketball team for the Paris Olympics, but she was surely not upset about it since she already had plans to stay away from basketball during the break.
“I’m gonna try to play more golf over the break, honestly,” she told reporters.
“I haven’t been out there yet this year, so I’ve got new clubs that I’ve got to break in, see how they swing. So hopefully, get out there later this week,” she said at the end of July.
The favorite to win Rookie of the Year, along with Angel Reese, has averaged 17.1 points, 8.2 assists, and 5.8 rebounds this season.
Caitlin Clark Is Trying To Put The Indiana Fever Somewhere They Haven’t Been In Almost A Decade
Caitlin Clark has been everything for the Indiana Fever.
She came to a franchise that was so bad that they had the number one overall draft pick for two straight years.
With her good play, Clark has a chance to have the Fever finish a season above .500, something they haven’t done since 2015, per Basketball Reference.
She can also lead them to the playoffs, somewhere they haven’t been since 2016.
