Nadia Nakai and DJ Zinhle celebrate Kairo’s 9th birthday

South African DJ and entrepreneur Ntombezinhle Mohosana, popularly known as DJ Zinhle celebrated her daughter Kairo Forbes’s 9th birthday alongside rapper Nadia Nakai with a wholesome post.

The 9-year-old was born to famous parents DJ Zinhle and late rapper and record producer Kieran Forbes in 2015 and she has achieved great things at such a young age. From being nominated at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Africa Award under the category of Favourite Kidfluencer, Kairo is rising to the top.

Her DJ mother who married Bongani Mohosana also known as Mörda, has been candid about her daughter’s struggles when it came to her adapting to her father’s untimely passing early last year in Durban. She took to Instagram with the caption:

“My baby is 9. Happy Birthday @KairoForbes, the sweetest lady baby I know, the best big sister & most talented girl. You surprise me every day, may God continue to bless you with great health & happiness. I also pray that he continues to guide me and @murdahbongz as we raise the most precious girl,” adding, “Kiernan will forever be in your heart & we will keep his memory alive. We love you so much, I hope you know how proud we all are. Happy Birthday my Angel pie. Owethu kaMama.”

Rapper Nadia Nakai who was dating the slain rapper at the time of his death also wished Kairo a happy birthday by saying,

“Happy Birthday to the sweetest girl! @kairo.forbes love you so much, my angel!!! I hope you’re having an amazing day!
