Caitlin Clark has helped the Indiana Fever walk into the final leg of the WNBA season with their heads held high.

Indiana is currently 8-2 in its last 10 games and have undoubtedly been one of the best teams in the league since the WNBA’s return from the Summer Olympics.

Clark has led the Fever throughout their recent run, and she’s now being rewarded for her play. The rookie recently won the WNBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors.

Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier took home the award in the Western Conference.

During Week 11 of the WNBA season, Clark averaged 25.0 points, 10.0 assists, and 7.7 rebounds per game.

The rookie has been phenomenal for the Fever as of late. She’s currently averaging 19.2 points, 8.5 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game this season.

Clark hasn’t just produced at a high level throughout the past week, she’s been extremely efficient.

The 22-year-old star has shot over 50% in two of the last five games and she’s also shot 40% or better from three-point range in four of the last five.

The rookie’s elite-level play has helped the Fever rise in the standings. Indiana currently lies as the No. 6 seed in the WNBA standings with a 19-17 record.

Indiana has won six of its last seven games, and now has four games left in the regular season before the Fever prepare for their first playoff appearance since 2016.
