Fever Head Coach’s Caitlin Clark Admission Will Have Rest Of The WNBA Shaking In Fear

By all accounts, Caitlin Clark is having an incredibly impressive rookie campaign with the Indiana Fever (17.1 PPG, 8.2 APG, 5.8 RPG, 40.5 FG%).

While Clark has had her fair share of struggles, fans weren’t expecting her shooting to be so spotty, as she largely made a name for herself thanks to her lights out long-distance shotmaking in college.

Clark has admittedly played a ton of basketball over the past few months, so the WNBA’s extended break will surely help her out. And if you ask her coach Christie Sides, she claims that Clark’s shot has begun falling again at their recent practices, which is something that rest of the league will surely take note of.

This is a particularly eye-opening development because Clark’s three-point shooting had gone cold before the break. In her past seven games, Clark had hit just 26.2 percent of her three-point shots.

If she can begin knocking down her shots from behind the arc on a consistent basis again, the Fever will only become a more dangerous team.

Clark still has a few more days to rest up before Indiana returns to action, but if she can catch fire from three-point land like Sides believes she can, it could be quite a historic return to action for the star rookie guard.
