Brazil’s Flavia Saraiva was turning heads on social media throughout her time at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
The gymnast helped her country win bronze in the women’s all-around event at the games last week and had to get herself past a scary fall off the uneven bars during warmups.
Flavia gained some popularity for her bandaged black eye but managed to participate in all four of the women’s gymnastic events. Brazil posted a team score of 164.497 points to go third, finishing behind Team USA (171.296) and Italy (165.494).
Saraiva has a remarkable Instagram following, now up to 4.6 million on the back of her exploits in the famed French city.
One particular post was being pointed to during the games, though she shared it several months ago: March, to be precise. The snap shows her on a beach wearing a navy blue bikini inclusive of a thong that put a lot of her butt on show.
“Salty air, messy hair 💙🌊,” she captioned it.
“ASKED TO BE HOT AND DIDN’T LEAVE ANYTHING FOR ANYONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!” another suggested.
Flavia Saraiva Is A Gymnastics Veteran At Just 24
Flavia Saraiva won’t see her 25th birthday until September, but she has been representing Brazil in gymnastics competitions for over 10 years.
She finished ninth in the individual all-around event, with her teammate Rebeca Andrade winning silver and Team USA’s Simone Biles winning gold.
Andrade won a gold medal in the floor competition on Monday; Biles came in second place.
Saraiva’s most notable performance came at the Pan American Championships in Brazil two years ago, when she won gold in the individual all-around and balance beam. She also helped her country win gold in the all-around competition.
