Angel Reese had an incredible rookie season with the Chicago Sky in 2024. A testament to this fact is how she came in as the first runner-up for the coveted WNBA Rookie of the Year title after leading the league in rebounds as a first-year pro.

It’s not just on the basketball court that the 22-year-old has been making waves, though. During the season, Reese also launched her own podcast, “Unapologetically Angel,” which has since found significant success in the industry.

So much so, that “Unapologetically Angel” has just been named one of Spotify’s Best New Shows of 2024 — an achievement that Reese is extremely proud of.

The Sky forward took to X to share a heartfelt message after her latest feat.

“Don’t ever let anybody tell you what you shouldn’t do! Set your goals & chase your dreams! You can do anything you put your mind to! 😇 #LIMITLESS” she wrote.

“Unapologetically Angel” has released 13 episodes thus far. Some of her big-name guests include NBA Hall of Famers Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade, as well as WNBA icon Sheryl Swoopes.

Needless to say, the fans have received Reese’s venture into the world of media well, and this has translated to the show establishing itself as one of the top new podcasts on Spotify.

As “Unapologetically Angel” posted on X, their entire team is grateful for the support from the fans, and they have promised an even bigger and better year in 2025.
