Angel Reese took some time away from the Chicago Sky during the WNBA’s break for the Paris Olympics. The WNBA rookie traveled overseas and was pictured in Paris, France at the Prelude to the Olympics at Foundation Louis Vuttion on July 25.
Reese has been vocal about her love for fashion throughout the season, giving WNBA fans a glimpse of her style with her pregame outfits before Sky games.
She recently spoke after Chicago’s practice, sharing with the media some details of the Prelude to the Olympics, as well as her plans after she’s finished playing basketball.
Reese mentioned that she wasn’t prepared to attend the event at Foundation Louis Vuitton, but a previous shopping trip helped the 22-year-old form a clean outfit for the event.
“I actually didn’t even plan on going to the event,” Reese said. “I literally had that dress, luckily, in my suitcase. I went to Louis Vuitton the day earlier, during the day, and just grabbed some stuff that I wanted for myself and just added some accessories, and just dressed it up… It was right on scheme. I think that looked great.”
Reese believes fashion will eventually play a larger role in her life and wants to continue to grow her brand before she leaves the hardwood.
The first-year star explained that she’ll have to put a halt to her basketball career at some point, and once that happens, it seems modeling and fashion will be on the horizon.
“Fashion is something that I love. I’ve always loved modeling,” Reese added. “I was able to think Ana [Wintour] when I went there… Just being able to build these relationships, networking. The ball stops one day; this is not my life… I just want to continue to grow that brand for me, and being able to do that in the offseason is important.”
Angel Reese has modeling experience, having showcased an incredible dress at the Met Gala in 2024. She’s been involved in a few red carpet events, and it seems her involvement in the fashion game will continue to grow.
