DiJonai Carrington scores 10 of her 22 in overtime as Sun beat the Mystics

Unfortunately, there was one moment in the game that fan’s were hooked on that put the Sun in a negative light for what turned out to be no reason. This was when DiJonai Carrington hit Clark in the eye, which led fan’s to call for her suspension.

That said, Clark has since spoken on the incident, saying that it “wasn’t intentional by any means.” This classy response has led fans to praise Clark on Twitter or “X” for her humility.

Other fans in the comment section agreed with this post, saying, “I love this girl!” and “She is such a true champion.” This is just another example of her humility as she’s remained humble and respectful throughout the entire season.
There's a good reason Caitlin Clark won't be at the Paris Olympics

It’s incredible to see this from a rookie, especially one who has all of the spotlight on her. This mentality will only help her grow more both as a person and as a player. There’s no limit on how far she’ll be able to go when it’s all said and done.
