With the way Caitlin is passing, she will probably get 2nd in assists per game, which would actually be the non-bubble record.

Angel is right behind for the rebounds per game record and A’ja has quietly moved right up on her ass too. I think A’ja is more likely to break that than Angel just because of how tough the Sky’s 2nd half schedule is.

Both A’ja and Angel should smash the total rebounds record. Caitlin will smash the total assists record for a season and Alyssa Thomas will be right around breaking it too.

Really cool season. Greatness tends to pull greatness out of others. Next year, when Caitlin makes the jump to MVP level it will be cool to see what A’ja pulls out of herself to try to keep her place as the best player in the league.

I’d venture to guess that she will break and set a whole bunch of records, just because of the type of player she is – and one that the W hasn’t seen before.

If she was just a scorer, she might break rookie records, but it would take her a while to break career records. But due her not just being able to score, but also find open teammates, she’ll end up with a lot of records like this. Usually you have scorers and passers. It’s rare for one player to be great at both. I mean, they’re opposing mentalities. One just wants to shoot as much as possible, while the other eschews points in favor of feeding other players.
