The Indiana Fever defeated the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday afternoon, earning an emphatic 81-74 win. Star rookie Caitlin Clark didn’t have the best game, shooting just 5-of-17 from the field but still finished with 17 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds.

This game was a tough one for Indiana, as Minnesota entered Sunday’s game with the best record in the Western Conference, but the Fever pulled out an impressive win to make it two straight.

Clark had a special guest in this match, as her former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate Monika Czinano was also present. Sharing a photo with Czinano on his Instagram story, Clark sent a three-word message to former teammate Kate Martin, jokingly asking the Las Vegas Aces rookie if she was jealous:

You know it’s true for Caitlin when she holds her head.

So happy she got this moment!!

Also… “Kate Martin, are you jealous?” below.

Clark and Martin are close friends, as their relationship has remained strong since they both began their respective WNBA journeys. The Aces also played on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Washington Mystics. Martin only played nine minutes in this game and scored three points.

WNBA fans have fallen in love with the friendship between Martin and Clark, as the two former Iowa stars have maintained a very close relationship since being drafted in the 2024 WNBA Draft
