Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was recently named as the Associated Press Player of the Week in the news company’s WNBA honors.
Following the announcement, in which the Fever posted on their social media accounts, Aliyah Boston responded, sending a subtle message to Clark about the award.
“Swagggggg,” Boston said.
Boston may have been congratulating Clark for her part in the honors, but in the caption of the news, the Fever also mentioned that they’re the only team this season with multiple AP Player of the Week winners.
The 6-foot-5 center previously won the award on Jun. 18.
Boston and Clark have created one of the best duos in the WNBA. They were both featured on the WNBA All-Star roster in 2024 and have certainly proven to be elite players at their respective positions throughout the season.
Caitlin Clark is currently averaging 17.8 points and 8.3 assists per game, leading the league in average assists.
Indiana’s star center has averaged 14.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game.
Both young stars have the Fever in position to make the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
Indiana stands as the No. 7 team in the WNBA rankings with a 13-15 record. They have 12 games left in the season to make their final playoff push.
