Caitlin Clark is at the top of the WNBA when it comes to merchandise sales. According to Boardroom, sales of WNBA products have increased by over 500% in the last year.
Clark has the top-selling WNBA player merch, just above Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese.
WNBA fans have been debating the rookies’ influence on the league, and while Clark seems to have a slight advantage, Reese has also made a tremendous impact.
Despite both players being 22 years old and heading into the tail end of their rookie season, they’re viewed as budding superstars in the WNBA.
The revenue for the players listed is unknown, but Clark and Reese have been able to help the league rise in merchandise sales, ticket sales, and T.V. rights deals extremely early into their professional careers.
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese didn’t just beat out a few unknown names for the top of the WNBA’s merchandise list.
They’re above two WNBA MVP candidates in A’ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu.
Wilson is currently averaging 27.3 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, with many viewing the Las Vegas Aces center as the unanimous MVP.
Ionescu, on the other hand, has averaged 19.9 points, 6.0 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game for the New York Liberty.

Clark and Reese’s Rookie of the Year debate may not be connected with merchandise sales, but it’s clear that both stars are battling for the top spot in many categories.
The Fever guard is currently averaging 17.8 points, 8.3 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game, leading the rookie class in points and assists.
Chicago’s young star has averaged 13.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game, leading all rookies in average boards.
