Caitlin Clark, like other athletes, is never a fan of referees.

Women’s sports gained some serious momentum through Clark’s four-year career with the Iowa Hawkeyes. It only got bigger with her WNBA rookie season, which produced multiple broken records and a Rookie of the Year award.

This week, she was back at her old stomping grounds.

Former Iowa women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark was at the Knapp Center in Des Moines to watch the Hawkeyes’ game vs. Drake.

Clark, a West Des Moines native, was a two-time national player of the year for the Hawkeyes.

Clearly, nothing has changed with her because cameras caught her standing up in the crowd and ripping the refs, just like in the past.

Once an Iowa player received a foul call, a camera panned to Clark, who was standing up in the stands and expressing her frustration all over her face and eventually with her words.

During the 2024 WNBA regular season, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark received six technical fouls, which tied her for second in the league.

If she was on the court for her old college team, she would’ve most certainly received one.

Caitlin Clark Set Many Records For The University of Iowa’s Women’s Basketball Team

Caitlin Clark left the Women’s college game very accomplished.

She left as the active NCAA women’s basketball leader in career points, 3-point field goals, 3-pointers per game, scoring average, career assists, assists per game, field goals made, 3-point attempts, free throws made, and free throws attempted.

Clark also owned the record for women’s Division I NCAA Tournament all-time play on all these lists: points (491), assists (152), and 3-pointers (78).

The only thing Clark did not do was win a National Championship.

She can more than makeup for it by winning a championship in the WNBA.
